Losing a baby within the first 20 weeks of pregnancy can be a devastating event. Between 15 and 20 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage, and they're often the result of a chromosomal abnormalities. But that doesn't make the grief any less real to hopeful future parents.
 
The good news is that having a miscarriage doesn't impact your future ability to carry a pregnancy to term.
